Kobe Bryant;The Legend!!!

As we mourn Kobe Bryant's demise,we saw it fit to outline his legacy. He was a professional basketballer who has won 5 NBA championships with the Lakers .He is well known for the Mamba Mentality; He advocated for doing what you want to do and doing it to your level best.
He outlined that the best way to improve your value is to work,is to learn ,is to absorb,to be a sponge and always want to outwork your potential. He was a strong believer in competition .A story was told by Jay Williams(another NBA player)on Impact theory(Tom Bilyeu Channel) https://instagram.com/chips a motivation/.He once decided that he would go to Staples Center at 3'0 clock and make sure he made 400 shots before getting ready for a game they had against the Lakers. He met Kobe Bryant practising and after one and half hour of practising he stopped but Kobe was still practising. In Jay Williams words he said,"He looked like he was in death sweat when I got here and he's still going. And its not like his moves are lazy or nonchalant he's doing game moves ,you know."He stayed to watch Kobe workout he worked out for another 25 minutes and got done. That game Kobe dropped 40 points on his team.He told Tom Bilyeu,"And after the game is over I'm like I have to ask this guy.I have to understand like why he works like that.So after the game I'm like "Hey Kobe ,like why were you in the gym for so long." He was like "Because I say you come in and I wanted you to know that it doesn't matter how hard you work that I'm willing to work harder than you." You want to train as much as you can as often as you can.If you want to be a good basket ball player. If you train for more hours the separation that you have with your competitors and your peers just grows larger and larger.Work ethic was one of ethics .He said ,"So if you get up at 10 in the morning train at 11 or 12,lets say 12;You train at 12 ,train for two hours 12 to 2.You have to let your body recover ,so you eat, recover ,whatever. You get back out,you start training at 6.You train from 6 to 8 and now you go home you shower, you eat dinner, you got to bed ,you wake up,you do it again right? Those are two sessions .Now imagine you wake up at 3,you train at 4.You go 4 to 6,come home, breakfast, relax ,so so.Now you're back at it again ,7 to 9.Look how much more training I have done by simply starting at 4,right?So now you do that and as the years go on,the separation that you have with your competitors and your peers just grows larger and larger and larger. And by you're 5 or 6,it doesn't matter what kind of work they do in the summer they're never going to catch up because they're 5 years behind. So it makes sense to get up and start your day early because you can get more work in.If I start earlier I can train more hours, which a lot of guys are not doing. So if you know if I do consistently over time ,the gap just gonna widen and widen and widen and they won't be able to get that back,to me,it was just common sense .I'm like thinking. How can I get an advantage?Start earlier.Yeah, let's do that .How do you develop that or where do you learn that from?Well I think is just ,you know. Its just a matter of what is important to you." We can learn a lot from Kobe Bryant.May his soul rest in peace.
