Mikel Arteta has fully recovered from COVID 19 after his self-isolation .He contracted the virus on 12 March from Olympiakos owner which led to the postponing of the match against Manchester City.He had this to say about the recovery .He had this to say about his recovery,"It is true am feeling completely recovered.It's true I started having some symptoms when we got a phone call from the club(Olympiakos)to let us know that we might have been exposed to the virus.I don't know ,I felt something within me that I had it.Then you realise,'Wow everybody can be exposed here,this is very serious and you start to think about the people you have been in contact with and the other people that can be related to us. That's when a bit of fear comes." He said he coped with it and later realised that his children's nanny and wife contracted the virus. Priority given to completing domestic competitions in an unprecedented solidarity move by UEFA. Working group set up to examine possibilities for this season’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions. UEFA today announced the postponement of its flagship national team competition, UEFA EURO 2020, due to be played in June and July this year. The health of all those involved in the game is the priority, as well as to avoid placing any unnecessary pressure on national public services involved in staging matches. The move will help all domestic competitions, currently on hold due to the COVID-19 emergency, to be completed. All UEFA competitions and matches (including friendlies) for clubs and national teams for both men and women have been put on hold until further notice. Following Arsenal's announcement on Thursday night,the Premier League has confirmed that it will convene an emergency meeting with top flight clubs on Friday morning regarding its fixtures.Arsenal were to face Manchester City on Wednesday but the fixture was postponed because Arsenal players had contact with Olympiakos owner Evangelos Marikanis who had tested positive for the Corona Virus.The players who had close contact with Marikanis were advised to self isolate themselves at home for 14 days.The Premier League had this to say in their statement,"In light of Arsenal's announcement tonight confirming that their first team coach Mikel Arteta has tested positive for COVID-19,the Premier League will convene an emergency club meeting tomorrow morning regarding fixtures."
