Christian Pulisic played down comparisons with Real Madrid star Eden Hazard after helping Chelsea return to winning ways against Watford on Saturday. Pulisic has been one of the stars of the Premier League since the season resumed last month, scoring two goals and providing a number of assists. The USA international produced another impressive performance at Stamford Bridge against Watford and won a penalty as Chelsea recovered from their shock defeat to West Ham to beat Watford 3-0. Frank Lampard’s side led by two goals at half-time thanks to Olivier Giroud and Willian, while Ross Barkley added a third late on to wrap up a comfortable victory. Pulisic’s impressive performances have led to comparisons with Hazard, who left Chelsea to join Real Madrid last summer. Reacting to the comparisons, Pulisic told Sky Sports: ‘Eden was an incredible player for Chelsea and is a world class player so I’m not going to try to compare myself to him. ‘I’m just going to try to be my own player and hopefully the fans like that guy. UEFA has banned Manchester City from participating in the Champions League and all its competitions for 2 years over financial fair play issues.The club believes the investigation was flawed and UEFA were out to get them from the start by acting as judge,jury and executioner.Man City can appeal the decision to Court of Arbitration of Sports (which has power to confirm the ban,reduce the penalties or send it back to CFCB) or go to the courts in Switzerland.The Swiss Supreme Court has the power to confirm or alter the ban. After being beaten by Atletico Madrid 1-0 away and at home 3-2,Liverpool were knocked out of Champions league in the round of 16. The European Champions hopes of defending their title was ended because they lost 3-2 to Atletico Madrid which was an aggregate of 4:2.Atletico Madrid played quite defensively and relied mostly on counter attacks. Jurgen Klopp said this about the game,"I am completely happy with the perfomance.It is so difficult to play a side like this."Klopp added he was "searching for the right words." I don't understand with the quality they have the football they play.They could play proper football but they stand deep and play counter attacks.We accept it,of course ,but it doesn't feel right tonight.I realise am really a bad loser,especially when the boys put such an effort against such world class players on the other side who defend in two rows of four.We know in the past two years we have had some lucky moments in the Champions League-you
