Arsenal Injury Woes!!!

As Arsenal take on Crystal Palace today we preview their injury news. Dani Ceballos picked up what looked like a hamstring injury at the second half of the Europa league clash against Vitoria in October.However,the Spaniard was back in training ahead of the game against Bournemouth, but he did not make the squad.Ceballos was an unused substitute in the win against Man United ,this also happened against Leeds. Calum Chambers ,an Arsenal defender was forced from the field in the match against Bournemouth.The club confirmed that he had ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee.Arteta Arsenal's coach said this about him,"The doctors are assessing him.The first feeling he got wasn't very positive."Hector Bellerin picked up an hamstring problem in a warm-up at London Stadium.Mikel Arteta stated in his prematch press conference for Crystal Palace that the has only partially trained with the team so far ,and is 'still not there' in terms of returning to matches. Kieran Tierney started the game against West Ham but had to withdraw after 29 minutes.Tierney landed awkwardly in his own box and got a shoulder problem.It has been confirmed as a dislocated shoulder meaning he could be out for some while.

UEFA has banned Manchester City from participating in the Champions League and all its competitions for 2 years over financial fair play issues.The club believes the investigation was flawed and UEFA were out to get them from the start by acting as judge,jury and executioner.Man City can appeal the decision to Court of Arbitration of Sports (which has power to confirm the ban,reduce the penalties or send it back to CFCB) or go to the courts in Switzerland.The Swiss Supreme Court has the power to confirm or alter the ban. We are yet to know their next move but this decision will obviously affect other clubs .Clubs that have been investigated over financial fair play issues such as Paris Saint Germain may have their cases reopened. LIVERPOOL OUT OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!

After being beaten by Atletico Madrid 1-0 away and at home 3-2,Liverpool were knocked out of Champions league in the round of 16. The European Champions hopes of defending their title was ended because they lost 3-2 to Atletico Madrid which was an aggregate of 4:2.Atletico Madrid played quite defensively and relied mostly on counter attacks. Jurgen Klopp said this about the game,"I am completely happy with the perfomance.It is so difficult to play a side like this."Klopp added he was "searching for the right words." I don't understand with the quality they have the football they play.They could play proper football but they stand deep and play counter attacks.We accept it,of course ,but it doesn't feel right tonight.I realise am really a bad loser,especially when the boys put such an effort against such world class players on the other side who defend in two rows of four.We know in the past two years we have had some lucky moments in the Champions League-you
