Liverpool's Winning Streak!!!

Liverpool continued their impressive run with a comfortable 2-0 win against Man United. This makes them 16 points clear of Man City (the runners-up) with a game in hand.Liverpool lined up in a 4-3-3 formation while Man United lined up in a 3-4-1-2 formation.Van djik opened the scoreline through a stunning header in the 14th minute from a corner.In the 24th minute ,Roberto Firmino scored through a wonderful strike but it was disallowed after VAR was consulted.In the 44th minute De Gea (United's keeper) made an impressive save from a shot from Sadio Mane.
Liverpool's offensive style was displayed as in the 53rd minute they had 10 corners while Man United had 0.In the 58th minute Martial lost a one on one chance with Allison Becker(Liverpool's show stopper)as he hit the ball wide of the post.Minutes to stoppage time,Mohammed Salah scored from a solo effort from an impressive assist from Allison Becker.With these many wins Liverpool are games away from reaching Arsenal invincibles winning streak.

UEFA has banned Manchester City from participating in the Champions League and all its competitions for 2 years over financial fair play issues.The club believes the investigation was flawed and UEFA were out to get them from the start by acting as judge,jury and executioner.Man City can appeal the decision to Court of Arbitration of Sports (which has power to confirm the ban,reduce the penalties or send it back to CFCB) or go to the courts in Switzerland.The Swiss Supreme Court has the power to confirm or alter the ban. We are yet to know their next move but this decision will obviously affect other clubs .Clubs that have been investigated over financial fair play issues such as Paris Saint Germain may have their cases reopened. After being beaten by Atletico Madrid 1-0 away and at home 3-2,Liverpool were knocked out of Champions league in the round of 16. The European Champions hopes of defending their title was ended because they lost 3-2 to Atletico Madrid which was an aggregate of 4:2.Atletico Madrid played quite defensively and relied mostly on counter attacks. Jurgen Klopp said this about the game,"I am completely happy with the perfomance.It is so difficult to play a side like this."Klopp added he was "searching for the right words." I don't understand with the quality they have the football they play.They could play proper football but they stand deep and play counter attacks.We accept it,of course ,but it doesn't feel right tonight.I realise am really a bad loser,especially when the boys put such an effort against such world class players on the other side who defend in two rows of four.We know in the past two years we have had some lucky moments in the Champions League-you...
