Can Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial lead Manchester United to a top-4 finish?

Manchester United won 3-0 against Watford yesterday. Bruno Fernandes had a lot to do with the win as he got his first goal since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January ,he converted from the penalty spot(42nd minute).He also had two assists which led to Anthony Martial and Greenwood scoring.He has had 1 goal and 2 assists in 4 appearances which is encouraging to Manchester United fans.After the game ,Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had this to say about him,"He has come in and given everyone a big boost ,not just the team,but the supporters too...He is like a mix of Scholes and Veron.Martial scored quite a splendid goal which he chipped over the goalkeeper .He had a lot of composure and confidence that comes with an experienced player.He has played 33 games,scored 15 goals and provided 5 assists.United are currently number 5 with 41 points behind Chelsea. United's next fixtures include Everton(March 1),Manchester City(March 8),Tottenham(March 15),Sheffield United (March 21).If United keep being impressive and consistent ,they will be in the top 4.

UEFA has banned Manchester City from participating in the Champions League and all its competitions for 2 years over financial fair play issues.The club believes the investigation was flawed and UEFA were out to get them from the start by acting as judge,jury and executioner.Man City can appeal the decision to Court of Arbitration of Sports (which has power to confirm the ban,reduce the penalties or send it back to CFCB) or go to the courts in Switzerland.The Swiss Supreme Court has the power to confirm or alter the ban. LIVERPOOL OUT OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!

After being beaten by Atletico Madrid 1-0 away and at home 3-2,Liverpool were knocked out of Champions league in the round of 16. The European Champions hopes of defending their title was ended because they lost 3-2 to Atletico Madrid which was an aggregate of 4:2.Atletico Madrid played quite defensively and relied mostly on counter attacks. Jurgen Klopp said this about the game,"I am completely happy with the perfomance.It is so difficult to play a side like this."Klopp added he was "searching for the right words." I don't understand with the quality they have the football they play.They could play proper football but they stand deep and play counter attacks.We accept it,of course ,but it doesn't feel right tonight.I realise am really a bad loser,especially when the boys put such an effort against such world class players on the other side who defend in two rows of four.We know in the past two years we have had some lucky moments in the Champions League-you

Man City just won their 3rd straight Carabao Cup title (7th overall) after winning 2-1 against Aston Villa .At the beginning of the season they still won the Community Shield ,although some would argue these are less prestigious Cups they show that he takes all trophies seriously.Pep was a creative and gifted midfielder who usually played in a play making role as a defensive midfielder.
