Ole:no updates on transfers

Image
Solskjaer admits United may still look to do some late business in the notoriously difficult January transfer window. “I haven’t got any updates for you on transfers. I haven’t got anything to say now. My mind is just on the game. “We’ve got players here that we’re working hard to get back. If there is something out there, then the club are pursuing that and looking at it. “It is difficult this window – it’s always been. I can’t remember how many good deals that we’ve brought in in January. “Henrikh [Mkhitaryan] and Nemanja [Matic] and Patrice [Evra], they were good ones. It’s hard, it’s very hard because the clubs don’t want to lose their best players.”

In Jay Williams words he said,"He looked like he was in death sweat when I got here and he's still going. And its not like his

Kun Aguero's Exploits!!!

Conte says he doesn't need young

Image
Conte wants to sign a player don't need adaption rather than Utd's Young (CdS) a day ago / autty 225KB00:46 Inter manager Antonio Conte would have preferred to have a player who did not need a period of adaptation to be signed rather than Ashley Young, who Inter appear to be closing in on the signing of, according to a report in today's print edition of Corriere dello Sport. As per various reports in the media, Inter have already agreed personal terms with the 34-year-old full back on the basis of an 18 month contract and now just need to agree terms with Manchester United over his transfer. Conte had initially told club bosses that he wanted Marcos Alonso signed due to the fact he is familiar with the player and the player is familiar with his methods and also has Serie A experience unlike Young. Conte was however forced to abandon the idea of having the Spaniard in his ranks due to Chelsea's €40 million demands for him, which Inter deem to be excessive. Related:

Worst and best premier league signings

Image
From Van Dijk to Di Maria... Check out PL clubs' best & worst signings of decade 12-25 / Freddy13 995KB03:23 In the run-up to the January transfer window, we're ranking some of the best and worst signings by the Premier League's elite clubs over the past decade. We looked at every arrival from the 2009-10 season onward -- though only permanent deals count, so no loans or promotions from the youth team (sorry, Marcus Rashford). There's no magic formula to decide; it's purely how we think fans (having asked a few ourselves) would place them. No doubt you will agree with some and disagree with others! Liverpool Best Signing: Virgil van Dijk, 2018- Bought for: £75m from Southampton Appearances: 90; Goals: 8 He might no longer be the world's most expensive defender (it's now Harry Maguire at £80m), but arguably Van Dijk is the world's best. In fact, £75m actually seems like a bargain given how much he has affected a Liverpool back line that has a

I don’t want to cut and dry on anyone, but it is not one we are talking about.” Lampard rules out any move away this transfer window for Andreas Christensen. He likes him as a player and wants to work with him to make him into the player he could be. #CHEBUR Frank Lampard reports on Olivier Giroud that if it is right for everybody, we will look at whether he can leave the club. OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER PRESS CONFERENCE

>OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER PRESS CONFERENCE EARLIER TODAY Good morning. What's the situation regarding Ashley Young? Ole “He's one of our players, he's our captain. There's loads of speculation and we've just got to handle that. We're getting used to that in this club and Ashley's been very professional and focused, so I don't think that's going to change.” *Is he going to be a Manchester United player after January or is he going to go to Inter Milan now?* Ole“Well, that's a discussion that me and Ash will have if something comes up and for us we haven't got too many players fit and ready, so we need the ones we have.” I DON'T *Clearly his leadership skills, his versatility, his experience are things you wouldn't want to lose?* Ole “No, Ashley's been very, very good for this club and he's been a very good captain this season, so let's see where we are in June and, well, we can see where we are in February as well.” *When

HARRY SIDELINED TILL APRIL

Image
Tottenham have confirmed Harry Kane will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring. He is expected to return to training in April. Kanes injury might have a very big impact to Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho leaving him with Delle Ali, Son and Moura to choose who will play Kane's role Son was back from the 3 match ban faced against Chelsea in December and featured alongside Moura in the fa third round qualifying match against Middlesbrough. That ended a 1-1 draw when asked of Moura and son partnership Mourinho was quick to answer It's a new thing for the team to play without Harry, without a striker," he said. "We tried to give them the mobility of Son and Lucas, but it was not easy." He added: "The boys did what they can. You cannot transform Lucas or Son into a number nine like Harry Kane. So we have to try other things and that is what we are going to do." Mourinho keeping in mind is a coach who depends on a target man will h

IS Scott the modern day robbie savage??

S cott McTominay labelled "modern-day Robbie Savage" and an example of Man Utd's problems Scott McTominay is currently injured with a knee injury but has been a shining light for Man Utd in a mixed first half of the season Scott McTominay has been accused of being a "modern-day Robbie Savage" by former Manchester United defender Paul Parker. Midfielder McTominay has been one of United's most consistent, and impressive, performers this season, as he has made 21 appearances this season. The Scotland international suffered a knee injury during Boxing Day's victory over Newcastle , with United losing to Manchester City and Arsenal since, along with an FA Cup draw with Wolves . But despite general praise about McTominay's influence in the United side, Parker reckons the 23-year-old is an example of the problems at Old Trafford. The former England ace likened him to Premier League stalwart Savage, who came through the ranks but never played in the f

MADDISON OR GREALISH EVERY UNITED FAN NIGHTMARE

Image
There could be many factors to compare two players but I have chosen the main factors that Manchester United need at the moment. Maddison 🆚 Grealish Cross, Aggression, Leadership, Creativity , attack-defense combination and Stamina. 1. Cross It's not everyday you compare a player's cross with that of David Beckham's, but in this case these young lads have the ability to cross a ball from any yards out to a pin point in a good day. But since this is a comparison I think Grielish has an edge over James. ( Jack 8.5/10, James 8/10) 2.Aggression- Manchester United players are always known for their aggressive side (at least before 5 years) the likes of Roy Keane, Wayne Rooney, Nemanja Vidic are just on the top of a long list, now the only player with a bit of heart is Mctominay who is currently on the side lines. But with these two Aggression doesn't come to a near comparison as Grielish has the blood of the devil while Madisson is a bit shy. (Jack 9/10, James 6/10)

Barcelona's Super Cup Hopes CUT OFF!

Barcelona will not feature in the Spanish Supercup 2020 Final on Sunday.Unfortunately there will be no El Classico in Saudi Arabia. This is after Barcelona lost to Atletico Madrid 3:2.In an amazing turn of events in the dying moments of the game Atletico came from behind to grab the victory from the Blaugrana. Koke gave Atletico the lead at the start of the second half but Leo Messi responded with an equaliser only five minutes after the opener.Messi scored another goal at the 59th minute but the goal was disallowed for handball after the VAR monitor was checked. However, the Blaugrana refused to give in,and two minutes later it was 2:1 after Antoine Griezmann headed home from a close range effort.Barcelona were denied another goal at the 73rd minute after Gerard Pique scored from close range, but the effort was disallowed by VAR due to an offside in the build-up.Atletico equalised at the 81st minute when Vitolo was brought down by Neto(the Barca keeper),which led to Alvaro Mo
